So a while ago a friend of mine introduced me to Coastal Scents. They are a cosmetics company that makes affordable products for those of us that can't buy MAC or MUF every single time me need something. While I Loooove me some MAC and MUF I just can't justify spending my whole paycheck on them.
My first product I every tried was the 88 shimmer palette. The colors are fantastic and can be applied wet or dry. As the title states "Shimmer" These suckers are very shimmery. I actually use the lighter colors for highlights. I wear a lot of neutral tones for everyday makeup, and find the neutral/natural colors are great for smokey eyes. They bright colors I like to use for my "Vegas Show Girl" type makeup. They have such a wide array of colors....awesome.
I liked this palette so much I decided to try "Color Corrector Quad" and the "Medium Camo Quad" (which is a concealer palette). Pictures of products are below. I love that when you make an order from these guys you get a free sample of some type. So far I've been sent eye shadows, and blushes. The last order I made they actually sent me a brush! Free! I Also order the 78 Shadow Blush Palette. This palette includes blushes, highlights, and shadows (matte and satin). I love the blushes, and the satin finish shadows, but find some of the matte shadows to be a bit on the chalky side. As a whole though everything I've bought from Coastal Scents as made a great addition to my kit. The concealers are amazing! Great coverage and great color selection.
